To feel and express and love is the essence of human existence. It is our flaws and our struggles that make us who we are and it is what makes life beautiful, and for the sake of the future and ourselves we must embody it even if the world says no.

Bravery Is Being Vulnerable.

We live in a world of calculation. A world that tells us how to feel and how to act and how to feel and if we step out of line, we are the outliers. But it’s love, passion, beauty, romance that drive the essence of the human race and what we live for. What more are we than the sum of our dreams and desires? It’s this truth that tortures so many when our sorrow and despair cannot find a place to rest, and often are suppressed until we have a world of souls dying in their solitude, none to share with and build together with in love or bonds. This truth becomes more apparent to me with age that our passion is our reason to be alive, and the world will so often tell us to get back in line but it only makes the desire even stronger. To mourn, to weep and to celebrate and rejoice are all the equal human experience because it is life we experience through it, to feel and process our burdens and our struggles and become more human at the very same time. Do we not connect to one another based on our shared weaknesses and vulnerabilities, so leaders appear more human if they’re willing to show that they can humor their shortcomings? A single kind word is often met with power when the person giving it is exposing their own soul by feeling what the other feels. Our feelings compel us to become the best version of ourselves because it convicts us to try to make this world a brighter place amidst all the pain, it makes us strive so we can build something that brings hope to generations. To be poetic and heartfelt is not weakness it is the very point we’re alive, and all of the world waits for the hero who is willing to bare their soul to a hurting existence, and through it, find divine healing.

The Future Depends On That Bravery.

Many conflicts are started through misunderstanding or the very reason of not sharing our humanity, by being too prideful to admit their own needs and wants and it becomes a world of warfare, a tragic place of so many who never got the chance to make peace with others and within themselves. Isn’t the essence of love itself to be able to share our very soul even if it’s an inkling? No gift is greater than one willing to show the courage to give a part of themselves for the sake of another. So therefore if not compelled by love, then we are nothing. To feel, to bleed, to hurt, to rejoice and heal and celebrate, all of this is equally the human experience and ultimately needs to be seen as the poetry that makes life worth living for, a waking and dynamic dream we can take part in and decide the next verse. Our country and our world are the sum of the decisions of how those same people decided to feel and how to strive. We are spiritual and powerful beings and our very essence is the force that bleeds into the world like the blood running through our veins, and what we reflect into the world is what it becomes. We have been through hard and anguishing times, I’d quote a verse that even as the pains of childbirth the world has longed and anguished for decades and generations praying for salvation, but it is God who knows our very hearts and sees our sorrows and gives us the power and inspiration to be the very force for change they’re looking for, to be the angel that brings those miracles to a hurting world. It is feeling that allows us to chase these inspirations and wake up in the middle of the night with a song in our hearts that we cannot ignore. The soul is a beating heart is cannot be controlled or tempered, it simply is, and it is the beauty of this life that is found in the genuine choices we make based on what we know is right and our passion for it is shown for all the world to see. We have to be willing to stand up on a stage and pour out our hearts and even cry in the midst of it, so many of us suppress so much and yet it is still there like the play that must go on, and eventually it will call upon you to bring your verse whether we want it or not.

Take A Chance On Life.

I have struggled for all my life in defense of my image and my pride because my pain had exposed so much of me that I felt it should never be seen. But it’s that pain I can reveal that creates relationships that strike deeper than others because I’m able to be brave enough to expose my own vulnerabilities so they know they’re safe in their own. It is power, “for my power is made perfect in weakness”. The courage to feel and the ability to show that we are human, and that failure is a part of life is what inspires others to then contextualize their own struggles and see that they can also be lifted up the very same and use their story to inspire many. Poetry and the beauty of life is found in the moments when for just a little while, a person is satisfied in themselves and see not for what they lack and simply what they are. I can’t even begin to tell you how difficult it is to walk alone for so much of your life and yet decide to want to take a chance on how you feel about the world. You’re surrounded by people who call it too different, too dynamic, too unpredictable in the face of very same pain they face because they were too afraid to take a chance on life. So therefore the secret to life was never a strategy, a perfect hook or method, it was simply the will of a single person and the leader willing to take the first step into the brave unknown and believe in a future they know is right and fighting for it, and that takes a bleeding heart that compels them deeply enough that it’s something their life becomes all about and cannot pass on without completing it. Is it not living truly when we are willing to throw off all burdens and run the race in perseverance, to take a chance on what matters to us? I urge each and every reader to understand that you are each unique in your own perfect way and no matter what anyone tells you, words and ideas can change the world. If you feel, if you’re hurting or if there’s something convicting you so deeply you can’t ignore it, that’s the soul calling to us and it’s always worth taking a chance for. God made us each and every one of us unique and beautiful in our own perfect way, and with a little prayer, we can accomplish miraculous things. And the person brave enough to stand before a mountain and say with all of his heart “move” and believe so intently that it can be done, it shall be so, for that is faith and belief in the impossible. Believe that we can change the world, think different and be the force for change people are looking for and own our own vulnerabilities with class and bravery in the ability to bare them to the world and find strength in it. They are not weaknesses, it’s what makes life worth living for. You are worth it, live like it.
